What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first appointment will begin with a consultation where we discuss your health, lifestyle and goals. This allows the treatment to be tailored to your individual needs and ensures it is carried out safely. I’ll explain the treatment, answer any questions and ensure you feel comfortable throughout the session.

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a holistic therapy that involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, known as reflexes. These reflexes correspond to different areas of the body. Many people find reflexology deeply relaxing, reduces stress and tension, improves sleep and is beneficial for supporting overall wellbeing. As every person is different, experiences and results may vary.

At Restore Essence Wellness, I currently offer foot reflexology only, other types of reflexology are not available at the moment.

What if I don’t like to be touched on my feet?

If you are ticklish or do not like to be touched on your feet, please let me know when booking. The pressure applied to the feet is gentle enough not to cause any pain, but firm enough not to tickle. If you have a preference for not wanting a certain part of your body massaged, when booking a full-body massage, the session can be adjusted to focus on other areas instead.

Can I have a treatment during pregnancy?

Pregnancy massage is available after the first trimester and can be a safe, gentle way to help you relax and ease tension carried out appropriately. If you are pregnant, please let me know when booking so I can ensure the treatment is suitable for you and tailored to your comfort.

Is there parking available?

Yes, free parking is available. Full details will be provided when your appointment is confirmed.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment provided it remains within it’s validity period. Full details can be found on the Booking Information page.

Do you offer treatments to men?

At the present, treatments are offered exclusively to female clients.
